11 January 2019 The SRS Logistics and Storage Company was transformed into the SRS Logistics and Storage Ltd. Its location was determined to be at the port. The new shipping company had, first of all, to provide regular goods and passenger.
The shipping company’s fleet was formed mainly by steamships and boats transferred from within the UK. In total, during the period of its organization, the shipping company had 3 steam ships, two of them were cargo-passenger ships.
In 2021 The shipping company’s fleet increased significantly, amounting to 16 of non-self transport vessels, 1 sea tugs, 3 units of non-self-propelled sea barges. The first serial ships of the Tissa type arrived from Hungary, and timber carriers of the Hassan type came from Finland.
By the end of 2021 and early 2022, the shipping company’s fleet was completely renewed. the company began providing package transportation internationally.
In just a few years, SRS establishment relations with the port of Korea, the regular Busan container line was opened, connecting the middle east and the entire Asia countries, and has been successfully operating to this day. Other regular lines appeared and developed – universal and specialized, container and bulk carrier, temporary and permanent.
as a result of which the delivery time was reduced several times and the costs of transporting goods between the mainland were significantly reduced.
SRS transport ships began to explore new directions. It was at this time that the shipping company began to carry out regular linear transportation across Europe to Asia.
HEADING TO THE NORTHERN SEA ROUTE
Having survived the difficult 2021, SRS Shipping Company entered the new century as a renewed company with the ambitious goal of becoming one of the key elements of the transport complex of the entire Europe.
The shipping company has been and remains one of the most important participants in delivery” programs. Providing residents and enterprises of the region with socially significant goods required by the company and to return seriously for a long time to work on the Sea Route.
SRS is a member of the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO) and the National Chamber of Shipping.
